The hotel itself offers the best in hikes, boating, kayaking, rowing; even saunas, massages, as well as the most amazing dinners. Baard and his staff made our experience truly exceptional, we felt so welcome. Fjaerland Fjorstrue and the Fjord was truly the highlight of our trip through Norway. As a graduated hotel manager and a person with quite good experience, I can only use one word for the service in Fjaerland Fjordstue Hotel: supererogatory; going beyond the requirements of duty. I left the hotel with the impression that the people working here take their job so seriously and responsibly as if this hotel was their own venture, not a working place.
